Discover Your Niche: A Key to Success

I’m about to share with you a secret that will make your business an overnight success.

Ready? Here it is:

You Have A Niche

You have to find your niche! I know what you’re thinking, “What’s the catch?” There isn’t one! All you’ve got to do is pick something and stick with it. Seriously, how hard can that be?

Once you have your niche picked out you need to let people know about it by creating a niche statement.

This is your message that helps you tell people what you do. I’ll show you exactly how to get started on finding your niche statement today.

Niche, that’s the word of the day. What does it mean to niche?

In my last post, we figured out who your perfect buyer is, what their problem is, and how your product or service solves their problem. Whose Problem are you solving?

Now let’s create your niche statement.

This will make sure your business stands out above your competition. A good niche statement shows others what’s unique about your business. It expresses what you do to the world and lets your target market know what you can do for them. Niching is an essential strategy for every business owner who wants to establish themselves as an expert in their field and attract their ideal clients.

When you niche down, you can tailor your products, services, and marketing efforts to the specific problems and challenges faced by your ideal clients. This allows you to position yourself as a valuable solution provider, rather than just another generic option in a crowded market.

Here’s an example of the process of niching for my coaching business.

COACHING BUSINESS

“I help businesses see the big picture, by drawing out of you what’s already inside of you so that you can get the results you want.”

“I help business owners and entrepreneurs gain clarity in their organization so that they can see the big picture, I do this by asking questions and going 6 to 10 layers deep until we can get the desired outcome.”

Being too general in your business can hurt you. If your message isn’t clear and is too broad your potential clients won’t get how you can help them and won’t reach out to you. You need to narrow it down to a specific target market or become known for something unique that you offer in your industry.

So let’s niche down again.

Helping business owners

“I help business owners gain clarity on their vision and find the obstacles that seem to be holding you back from getting the clients and the income you desire. I do this by asking specific questions to your pain points and help you to figure out a plan to overcome those obstacles. I help you map out the goals needed and then hold you accountable to those goals until we reach your desired outcome and get the clients and the income to want.”

Niching isn’t rocket science but there is a science to success and sometimes we need a thinking partner to help us see things we can’t see because we’re too close to it.

I’ll put a link below to a template I created to help you in your niching down process.
